* Letters about the middle schools end of year awards program have been mailed, but if you did not receive one, and you believe your child qualified for an award, please contact the counselor's office as soon as possible.
*Students will only sit with the class and go on stage if they received an invitation. If your child did not receive an invitation and you believe this is an oversight, please call the counselor's office immediately.
*This is a nice program for the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades combined. This is an important rite of passage in moving from lower school to upper school. There will be hundreds of people there, and it is important that all students present themselves appropriately. A general rule to follow is to wear an outfit that would be appropriate for a traditional church service or wedding. Please read the dress code requirements below.
SHORT AND FLIP-FLOPS ARE NOT ALLOWED FOR ANY STUDENTS - BOYS OR GIRLS.
*Girls should wear dresses, skirts, or dress pants of appropriate length and style. Girls may not wear tops or dresses with thin straps (the straps should be at least as wide as the student's hand). This type of dress or top may be worn with a sweater or jacket over it. Shoes should be an appropriate style for the outfit - No flip flops or inappropriately high heels.
*Boys should wear dress pants, dress shirt, and a TIE (yes, a tie is required). Sport coats are optional. Boys should wear dress shoes or loafers appropriate for the outfit.
